Australian GT have confirmed the date and venue for the final event of the 2020 CAMS Australian Endurance Championship, with the legendary Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit – the host of some of the most incredible GT battles of recent years – the scene of the third round of the new season in mid-August.

Australian GT releases dedicated GT4 calendar for 2020

In addition to the popular CAMS Australian GT Championship calendar recently released for 2020, organisers have revealed the dates of a dedicated new-look program for GT4 – a six round championship that will encompass some of the blue-ribbon events of the GT3 series, whilst also including two standalone events dedicated specifically to the GT4 category.

Ross takes McLaren to Australian GT victory on Gold Coast

Fraser Ross turned in a flawless drive during Australian GT’s second race on the streets of Surfers Paradise, the McLaren 720S GT3 driver adding a win to his new lap record to conclude an almost perfect weekend, although it was race one winner Ryan Millier who claimed the round victory after finishing second in the Trofeo Motorsport Lamborghini Huracan GT3.

Gold Coast rookie Ryan Millier has claimed victory in the opening race of Australian GT’s return to the streets of Surfers Paradise, the Trofeo Motorsport Lamborghini Huracan driver turning in a flawless race to take over the lead after a setback for pole sitter and early race leader Fraser Ross during the compulsory pit stop.
