Australian GT reveal changes for 2020 season
Trofeo Motorsport – the Category Managers of GT Production Sportscars which includes the Australian GT Championship, the Australian Endurance Championship and the Australian GT Trophy Series – have unveiled a numberof changes within the structure of the various entities heading into the season proper.
Dramatic Australian Endurance Championship Bathurst opener
The opening round of the 2020 Australian GT season came as part of the annual Bathurst 12 Hour with the Endurance Championship entries carding points in their respective classes relative to their title rivals ahead of the two dedicated 4-Hour endurance rounds scheduled for Phillip Island through March and August.

The opening round of the 2020 Australian Endurance Championship gets underway this weekend as part of the annual Bathurst 12 Hour event, with registered teams competing in the GT3 Pro-Am and Silver categories, the Invitational MARC II cars and GT4.
Mercedes-AMG GT4 to make Australian GT debut
Mark Griffith will make a full-time return to Australian GT in season 2020 with Mercedes-AMG, but unlike his cameos of recent years, the popular Queenslander will campaign an AMG GT4 – the successful twin-turbo V8 making it’s competition debut in Australia.
