Australian GT prepares for dedicated GT4 events in 2020

The promoters of the CAMS Australian GT Championship have revealed they are looking at a push towards increasing the size of the GT4 fields in Australia after a recent survey uncovered more than a dozen cars in the country, with more on the water due to arrive in coming weeks.


Australian GT introduces two round Sandown GT Cup

As part of Australian GT’s policy of review and innovation in GT racing, the race format for the final round of the 2019 CAMS Australian Endurance Championship has been modified, along with the introduction of the ‘Sandown GT Cup’ based around the two events to be held at Melbourne’s Sandown Raceway [20-22 September and 8-10 November].

Victory to van Gisbergen and Talbot at The Bend

Shane van Gisbergen has added to his tally of Australian GT endurance championship victories with his maiden win in a Lamborghini Huracan alongside fellow former endurance race winner Liam Talbot, the pair emerging from the three-hour race around The Bend Motorsport Park with a win over points leaders Geoff Emery and Garth Tander, and former endurance champions Peter Hackett and Dom Storey.
